At New England Yankee Environmental and Demolition, we do Asbestos removal.  Asbestos removal is done through a procedure called an asbestos abatement.  Asbestos abatement is the removal of asbestos materials while minimizing the release of asbestos fibers.

Removal of the asbestos materials is needed to protect the people and the area in which the asbestos is located.  Common areas asbestos can be found are popcorn ceiling tiles, floor tiles, shingles, fire doors, and more.  If the asbestos is going to be removed the person or people doing the work should be properly protected from the asbestos.

Asbestos exposure can cause asbestosis, lung cancer, mesothelioma, and other negative health effects on the body.
