New England Yankee Demolition and Environmental takes immense pride in having been an integral part of the selected demolition and environmental cleanup of an iconic Brutalist building along the Connecticut Turnpike in New Haven. Initially designed by the legendary mid-century architect Marcel Breuer, this nine-story cubic marvel with its distinctive concrete facade has stood as a testament to innovative architecture since its commission by the Armstrong Rubber Co. in 1970.

Serving as their headquarters until 1988 before passing into the hands of Pirelli, this structure has now been skillfully dismantled by our expert team, marking a new chapter in the area's development while honoring its storied past.
